Description Sigurd Stordal 2005-01-26 06:42:45 UTC
While saving a text file in openoffice .sxw format, I get a "Error saving the document 'Documentname': Write error, The file could not be written".

I've checked and no problems with the filesystem (fs is clean and writable).
If I try to save to a word97,2000,2003 doc it crashes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a textfile
2.save a openoffice .sxw file
3.or save as a word97,2000,2003 doc

Actual Results:
The file wouldn't save or the program crashes.

Expected Results:
Well, saved the file.

Works for me without problems. Are your sure that you are non trying to save in a place where you don't have the necessary rights to?

Reverted to 1.1.3 which works as it should. Probably some system lib somewhere thats not uptodate.

Have had same strange thing earlier on when I moved from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 I think, so it might be a problem with my system.

Ok, thanks for reporting back, closing this, as it really seems to be some weird system issue
