Description Starling 2005-01-26 00:36:24 UTC
Good day.

Please find attached gqview-1.5.3.ebuild and a patch to make the arrow keys behave more sanely. (i.e. up = page up down = page down). Image panning works much much better with this patch, and is more intuitive.

gqview is a sophisticated image viewer for gtk, that handles thumbnails, resizing, rotation, full screen mode, slideshows. It's the Irfanview for Linux!

This patch doesn't do much (and in fact has worked since 1.2.2 so should be relatively stable) should not increase dependancies or requirements for gqview. Just a slightly modified arrow key panning algorithm.

The patch to make the arrow keys sane

I know there are some magic numbers in there, but if anybody knows why the
MYSTERIOUSFACTOR(H|W) exists, by all means give it a more meaningful name.

gqview-1.5.3 no longer in portage. If this is still a problem with 2.0.1 and/or
2.1.1, then please attach an updated patch and reopen. Thanks.
