When a game is in progress, hitting alt f4 doesn't close the game window.

This smells like an upstream problem but I don't know enough about egoboo to be sure

Can confirm and, as far as I can tell, yes. Upstream tests this game more on Windows and believe 2.8.1 always had this issue.

I "wanted" to upgrade it to a more recent snapshot (see bug #585234) but that has bigger problems from what I could tell.

Also, just remembered this is common issue across many sdl1 games.

Unfortunately won't be fixing this, hopefully upstream development pickups and brings the upcoming SDL2 version in a good state.
