Description Andreas Gerstenberg 2005-01-25 03:59:29 UTC
When try to use cyrus-imapd with saslauthd/pam, authentication works with imap4 but not with pop3.

Use flags and ebuild:
net-mail/cyrus-imapd-2.2.10 -afs +drac -idled -kerberos +pam -snmp +ssl +tcpd

to correct after install: cp /etc/pam.d/imap /etc/pam.d/pop

Reproducible: Always

missing pam config file for sieve as well, cp /etc/pam.d/imap /etc/pam.d/sieve works as well.
Comment 2 Fernando J. Pereda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-14 14:32:29 UTC
This one is fixed in latest cyrus-imapd version (2.2.10-r1). Notice it is still ~ARCH. Also notice that pam.d files are now provided by mailbase.

Cheers,
