Description Wernfried Haas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-25 01:23:59 UTC
I upgraded to xfce4.2.0 (which was recently marked stable on x86), aferwards the datetime plugin was no longer working. Upgrading to the latest masked version (xfce4-datetime-0.3.1-r1) solved the problem.
Don't know about other arches, but i assume the situation is similar.
Btw: This is more or less related to http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78462 but as it deals with xfce4 4.1.99.3 and most of the plugins mentioned there seem to be marked stable already i decided to file a seperate bug about. Feel free to mark as duplicate though. ;)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. update xfce4 to 4.2.0
2. Right-Click on panel -> Add new item -> "Date and Time" Missing
3. Get xfce-extra/xfce4-datetime-0.3.1-r1 -> "Date and Time" appears and plugin works
