Hi, while experimenting a bit with icecast and muse I also tried to build the latest version of muse. I had to cope with some errors but was able to find fixes for all issues I had with this build. Please find attached the ebuild and the patch I used to get muse-0.9.1 compiled/installed. As usual one can find all this stuff on my homepage, too: ftp://polynomial-c.homelinux.net/pub/polynomial-c/gentoo/portage/media-sound/muse Poly Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 49338 [details] muse-0.9.1.ebuild This is the ebuild. It contains RESTRICT="nomirror" to prevent abuse of the portage-mirrors as long as the package is not officially included in portage.
Created attachment 49339 [details] muse-0.9.1-compilefixes.patch This is the patch to get around two compilefixes. The third workaround is in the ebuild itsel. In this version one has to use -fpermissive in CXXFLAGS to get the package compiled. For further information please refer to http://lists.dyne.org/muse/msg00819.php Poly
muse-0.9.1 is already in portage, but I'm pushing this bug further in case there are some fixes in your report that are interesting to sound@ guys.
Hi, whoops, I really missed that. I made the ebuild some days ago and I'm _really sure_ that this version was not in portage to that time. I had a quick look at the package in portage and there are even more fixes in it than in mine. So sorry for the noise. I'm closing this bug. Poly
