Description Raimondo Giammanco 2005-01-23 10:27:26 UTC
Just emerged solfege for the first time, in a system
otherwise perfectly functional, and it is not able to start
due a possible python problem, or an alsa/oss problem?

Using alsa with 2.4 kernel.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. run solfege
2.
3.

Actual Results:
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:90:

instead

Comment 2 Raimondo Giammanco 2005-05-07 01:39:19 UTC
This was most likely a problem of configuration. With the new versions of solfege, like 2.4.0 or 2.5.1 this output is given when trying to use the /dev/sequencer for midi output. With the new versions of solfege the default is no midi so they start correctly, or at least this I think is the probelm.
