Every time I try to print a page containing japanese characters, firefox segfaults. Print Preview is fine. It crashes just when the printing seems to have finished. The output .ps file is not complete. It ends with something like: CanUseCIDFont not { % % Cannot print this so tell the user how to convert it % /Times-Roman findfont 12 scalefont setfont 50 700 moveto currentpoint (The Postscript interpreter in your printer is ) show version show moveto 0 -20 rmoveto currentpoint (This printout requires at least version 2015 or greater) show moveto 0 -30 rmoveto currentpoint (To make a Uni I have reemerged both freetype and firefox. It might be related tha tevery time I run esync I get theese: !!! aux_get(): ebuild path for 'media-libs/freetype-2.1.7' not specified: !!! Can I provide a trace or something to help find this bug? I'm starting to lose confidence in Gentoo's bug report system when such a serious bug is completely ignored. If you can't do anything about it, at least send it upstream.
Just noticed It crashes evry time I print anything, whether it is japanese or not. Changing font.FreeType2.printing in about:config to false fixes the crash, but makes all japanese charachters into boxes.
Stale bug, reopen if this is still an issue with up-to-date ebuild versions.
