The split up ebuild "kde-base/kwifimanager" should block "net-wireless/kwifimanager", otherwise the user is able to install it twice (which has happened to me).

According to CVS, net-wireless/kwifimanager was removed from portage
8 months ago...

you're right. it was in my local overlay (and I didn't knew it was there)
