Description Jan Callewaert 2005-01-22 14:53:13 UTC
When I try to change the font of a style (just clicking another font is enough) of an imported MS Office document, openoffice-ximian tries to save the document and then it crashes with a segmentation fault. I don't have this behaviour in the regular openoffice.

This is the fault:
$ xooffice
sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found
Segmentatie fout

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start xoffice
2. Open a Powerpoint presentation
3. Open font dialog a style
4. Select another font

Actual Results:
xooffice seg faults

Expected Results:
change the font of the style

I can reproduce that more or less. It doesn't crash for me, but the Edit Style-Dialog doesn't let me edit the fonts either. This is definately an upstream problem, so we will have to wait for a fix from them.

Until then, just change font through the right button context menu, this way it works.

I've filed this upstream now:

This works now for me with 1.3.11, could you please report back, if this is also fixed for you?

this works fine for me, it has been fixed.
However I have found a new bug. When I open the file dialog to open a file and
I select a document type to filter, the dialog just closes. When you close
openoffice afterwards, it isn't closed completed and uses 100 % of my cpu.

Could you please open a new bug with you system information about this, it's
easier to keep track of this that way. Thanks!
