Description Anton Romanov 2021-05-22 04:45:06 UTC
Ebuild for UFRII-LT series of Canon printers. Ebuild based on cndrvcups-lb (UFRII printers)

(not sure if -lt is the right name for it, maybe cndrvcups-sfp)

Reproducible: Always

This looks good.

I was searching for a way to drop gtk+:2 off all systems, and it seems at least linux-UFRII-drv-v550-m17n now depends on gtk+:3, whereas net-print/cndrvcups-lb-3.70 is still gtk+:2.

Hello I have a Canon MF424dw laser printer that uses their UFR II driver as well. I believe version 5.70 is currently released on their website. Though today after checking it seems I can no longer download the driver, I downloaded it last night but today it seems they have removed the link on their website at least. Maybe they are making changes or something. Anyway I am new to Gentoo but I would be willing to help get an up to date package for this driver. Thanks.

I have also found out that Gentoo has a package named cndrvcups-lb that I believe is the same driver. So I guess I will look into that as well. It seems to be more up to date at 5.40.
