I am an Odamex developer. I recommend that this pull request be rejected. Odamex 0.9.1 made significant changes to memory management and a number of critical bugs have been discovered which cause frequent crashes. These bugs are more evident when running in Linux or MacOS than they are when running in Windows. Due to these bugs some subsystems, such as the commonly used SDL_mixer implementation of the music system, will not function. Configuration changes will also be lost most of the time as the application saves these changes on exit and the application will crash on most attempts to quit.

We will be releasing 0.9.2 once our community release candidate testing is complete. It would be best to hold for 0.9.2
