Hi there!

Please find attached desklet-sidecandy-0.10.ebuild.

SideCandy is a new collection of desklets for gDesklets. It includes serveral Displays for your desktop borders. SideCandy also is a TEMPLATE for creating new desklets in that cute SideCandy style.
Needs gDesklets >= 0.33.
Note: you might observe some minor bugs with these displays. Those are bugs in the gDesklets core and have been fixed in CVS and will be fixed with the next gDesklets release.

I suggest x11-plugins/desklet-sidecandy (like the other gdesklets).

On the MainPage http://gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org/index.php there is also a package named SideCandy-beta. Anyone knows if it's more recent than version 0.10? (Packages are not the same size, different md5sum (obviously))

v0.10 looks 2.5 days more recent to me :) And it doesn't say anything about beta anymore. So I guess this is the newer/more recent one.

Latest version hit portage with the new eclass.
