Description Radek Podgorny 2005-01-21 18:50:48 UTC
It looks like the "fix" from bugs 55916 and 70867 isn't needed anymore in libgdiplus-1.0.5. When it's there, it generates files like libgdiplus.0.0.0 and when I remove that part from the ebuild, libgdiplus.so.0.0.0 is generated which looks much better...

Libtool version 1.5.10...
Comment 1 Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-24 13:04:54 UTC
Can you please try with libtool-1.5.2 to see if this is specific to the libtool version, or if it's something up with other components of your system.

Using libtool-1.5.2, I have no problems with the files generated.

Thanks.

Ok, libtool-1.5.10 got stabilized recently, and after upgrading, I can confirm that this happens with the 1.0.5 ebuild. I will make a revision bump that *removes* the check this evening, and see how that goes.

Please try libgdiplus-1.0.5-r1 in portage. I've added an "autoconf" to the src_unpack, which should get the libtool version stuff fully in sync. Please report back any success/failures. Thanks.

Thanks. Fixed...
