Description Igor Korot 2021-05-02 18:26:06 UTC
Hi,
I'm doing re-install of one of my laptops and found some inconsistencies

When I tried to partition my hard drive I see that the HB still referencing 82 as the swap partition type.
However on the latest minimal CD fdisk 82 is not even belong to Linux.

In the past doing partitioning there was a mentioning of making a partition boot able using fdisk (by pressing 'a') and then checking that it is actually the case by pressing 'p' and checking that there is a star next to the partition.
It would be nice to have a comment about it in the HB.

In the HB updating the @world file is done prior to explaining what USE flag is and changing them globally. I would switch them and make USE flag section first, especially since it is possible to have an emerge failure that can be fixed by USE flag change.

In the HB the USE flag section contains an examle of making the USE flags for the KDE. However I think this example is obsolete, since it will be taken care by selecting a proper profile. I would choose something else.

Thank you.
