Epiar, the space-based adventure game, has finally risen from its inactivity and a new version has been released but the most recent ebuild in Portage is for the much older (almost a year) 0.5.0 version. I attempted to hack together a working ebuild, but didn't get anywhere, so I am requesting someone with a bit more experience try their hand at it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Man... I'd gone so far as to get an ebuild out of this that I managed to get installed. Of course, I couldn't get SDL to realize I had a proper video card and it would segfault when I tried to run it, but I do have an ebuild that installs. Heh... I'll post it up here as soon as I get my laptop on-line.
0.6-rc2 is out altho I assume it's still the same answer (wait until 0.6 final). Also, isn't this more of a space rpg than an arcade game? Shouldn't it be in games-rpg rather than games-arcade?
