Only happens if app-doc/xmltoman is installed.
Adding --disable-xmltoman to myeconfargs variable in the ebuild fixes this issue.

in my case, slibtool is not installed. As far as I can see, xmltoman assumes its argument is a filename and does not handle the '-', ie stdin, case...
