I am using vnc2swf to create Computer Based Training recordings of example sessions with voice over audio tracks. In order to do this I had to apply patch ming-input-stream.patch (provided in the vnc2swf source) to media-libs/ming-0.2a. I've done this locally on my machine, but would like this to be standard in Gentoo for future upgrades, so I don't loose my setup. Is there any chance this can be done please? See http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/ for more details. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.vncserver :2 2.vnc2swf -soundfile out.mp3 out.swf :2 3. Actual Results: the resulting out.swf flash file has no audio. The above patch to ming-0.2a provides this capability. Expected Results: Embedded the required mp3 audio within the flash movie.
Please disregard this request. I have found a better way to add audio voice to the vnc2swf generated flash movie, using a seperate recording and then combining using swftool's swfcombine to merge the audio in. Kind Regards, glbevan
