See http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2005-January/msg00318.html (and others). A plugin for Nautilus to allow users to send a file to different targets (Evolution as an attachement, a Gaim buddy using the plugin,...) Working here :-)
Created attachment 48935 [details] Ebuild for Nautilus-SendTo 0.3 Ebuild for 0.3, based on nautilus-cd-burner ebuild. I don't guarantee the RDEPENDS are 100% correct.
Created attachment 61619 [details] ebuild for nautilus-sendto-0.3 This ebuild was written from scratch, dependency list is taken from configure.in. Does not depend on gtk/glib since gnome/glade/nautilus already pulls them in, but i'm not sure of what's policy in such cases. It is only keyworded ~x86.
I can see that the last ebuild has evolution as depend, but what if the user only have gaim installed? see my point?
Version bumped to 0.4 http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/nautilus-sendto/0.4/
(In reply to comment #3) > I can see that the last ebuild has evolution as depend, but what if the user > only have gaim installed? What about the evo useflag? btw. I tried 0.4. It compiles but segfaults (i have unmasked gnome 2.12...)
0.4 runs gerate here with gnome 2.10. (all stable x86). I think it should be in portage. But it think the gaim dependence should be removed since not everybody uses gaim (me for example).
0.4 also works fine here, running ~amd64. The configure script doesnt appear to support --disable-gaim or other such useful flags, building plugins based on what's actually installed on the system. Might make it hard to have USE flags determins which plugins are built...?

In portage under mask waiting for 2.14
