Description scott worley 2002-02-20 17:50:36 UTC
Please find attached a tar.gz of linux hot plug ebuild

This ebuild provides the utils and config files to support linux kernel 2.4
device hotplugging. It depends on the new ebuilds I've submitted for
pciutils-2.1.9(bug 785) and usbutils-0.9(bug 784).

The archive contains:
hotplug-20020114.ebuild
files/hotplug-gentoo
files/pci.rc-gentoo
files/usb.rc-gentoo

I've tested it on my system, Tyan MPS2064, with a usb hub and printer. Seems to
work but hotplug scripts will need tuning for each individual system.

sys-apps is good for this too.
Comment 3 Bruce A. Locke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-02-24 20:14:35 UTC
Commited as sys-apps/hotplug... Please test and make sure it still works.

Thank you for the ebuild.
