nido falcone # emerge -u xfce4-fsguard
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) xfce-extra/xfce4-fsguard-0.2.0-r1 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) xfce4-fsguard-plugin-0.2.0.tar.gz
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking xfce4-fsguard-plugin-0.2.0.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/xfce4-fsguard-0.2.0-r1/work
>>> Source unpacked.

!!! ERROR: xfce-extra/xfce4-fsguard-0.2.0-r1 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 486, Exitcode 1
!!! no configure script found
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Try to emerge it.

Actual Results:
Got the error above.

Expected Results:
Should compile.

The problem is (probably) that the configure file is expected elsewhere. I
looked at the ebuild, but I see that it has changed totally, (I see there's ?a
new system?) so I haven't found the solution.

Thanks, fixed in portage now

add XFCE_S=${WORKDIR}/${PN}-plugin before inherit in the ebuild if you don't want to wait an hour for the mirrors to sync
