Description mAhdi 2021-04-26 17:47:05 UTC
I got message about deprecating games-envd, so I checked what it depends on and there is https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/games-arcade/crack-attack in my installed apps.

equery d games-envd
 * These packages depend on games-envd:
games-arcade/crack-attack-1.1.14-r1 (games-misc/games-envd)

Reproducible: Always

1) don’t rely on “equery d”, use emerge -pcv. equery only approximates the results.

2) our CI doesn’t allow such inconsistencies (e.g dependencies on a masked package).

It looks like a revbump occurred fixing this 3 years ago in 2018.

Is your system fully up to date and dep cleaned? Given the other bug you filed, I think we need to focus on that...

I'm not sure which other bug do you mean?

And yeah, I didn't have games-arcade/crack-attack keyworded only specific -r1 build, haven't noticed that.

Sorry, what a coincidence! Somebody filed another almost identical bug. :)
