Description Eero Volotinen 2005-01-18 06:14:57 UTC
kde beta fails to recompile:

tuxor kde # ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -vp kde-3.4.0_beta1.ebuild
emerging by path implies --oneshot... adding --oneshot to options.

*** emerging by path is broken and may not always work!!!

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] kde-base/kde-3.4.0_beta1 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

I changes to latest gcc and want to rebuild with it? it does nothing about recompiling

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

You should tell portage what packages you want to recompile, or use
'emerge -evp \=kde-3.4.0_beta1' (which selects _all_ dependencies of kde)

Well. It is huge issue? almost recompile all? Is there nicer way on only recompile kde?
