Description Maciej Zieba 2005-01-18 02:41:36 UTC
Hi :)

After reading about the release of new drivers on forums I wanted to try them out. I went to http://packages.gentoo.org and checked that ati-drivers-8.8.25 are marked stable.

In my make.conf I have: ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86"

I did "emerge sync" and "emerge ati-drivers" but it started downloading the previous drivers (3.14.6)

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" emerge ati-drivers did the trick...

Probably the website should be updated to show ~x86.

Regards,
Crocodil.

It is not marked stable, it is marked ~ which is testing. You need to edit the ebuild and remove the "-*" in the beginning of keywords!

Well, it is correct now but wasn't yesterday morning :)

I'm sorry for the inconvenience...
