Instead of "fixed in version 2.xyz-r711", couldn't maintainers/owners also hint
in some way what the problem/fix was (at least with an oneliner)!?

This helps when someone searching here for similary bugs/problems and so on...
Which results in less work for maintainers/owners if users could find some
solutions/ideas for their problems.

Am I wrong?

It would be "nice", if some comments was writen in packages Changelogs too!
I mean about what fe fix/update was here also....
