since elasticsearch is gone proprietary with the last version I suggest packaging opensearch as a free alternative. I already maintain ElasticSearch; I'll take a look into this. OpenSearch is becoming increasingly popular - we should try and support it too! At the very least a -bin should be trivial; I'll see if it can be built via portage for a 'real' package too.
