The home page is a bit outdated but the latest version on SourceForce is 2.6.4. This fixes that annoying text corruption when using CDDB! The previous ebuild is okay but remove the gcc-3.4 patch because it's no longer necessary.
Created attachment 48797 [details] ripperX-wrapper This is a short wrapper script I wrote that takes a single arguement. It edits the .ripperXrc file so that it uses the given CD drive. This is handy for me because I have two drives. Maybe you could include it? Oh and more importantly, the new version pops up an error unless you delete your existing .ripperXrc and let it create a fresh one.

version bumped, i've added a sligthly modified version of your wrapper script. i've added checking for commandline arguments, if there are != 1 arguments it prints out a usegage information. thanks for your report / effort.
