Hello, new user here. Excuse possible blunders.

I don't know if there is a reason why Portage still has the old Espeak synthesiser instead of the more current revision Espeak-NG:
https://github.com/espeak-ng/espeak-ng

If there is no reason why not, could somebody make an ebuild for it?

Espeak-ng is in the tree.
