Comment 1 Tuan Van (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-24 13:53:57 UTC
and the version is?
I can't reproduce this.
# USE="-gdbm -berkdb" emerge cyrus-sasl
...
>>> original instance of package unmerged safely.
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
 * Caching service dependencies ...                                                                                                                              [ ok ]
>>> dev-libs/cyrus-sasl-2.1.20-r1 merged.
>>> Recording dev-libs/cyrus-sasl in "world" favorites file...

# emerge cyrus-sasl -vp

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild   R   ] dev-libs/cyrus-sasl-2.1.20-r1  -authdaemond +berkdb* -debug -gdbm +java -kerberos -ldap +mysql +pam -postgres -sample +ssl -static 0 kB

Comment 3 Fernando J. Pereda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-16 10:28:57 UTC
A month old and got no response... since neither Tuan Van nor me could reproduce the error. I'll resolve it as WORKSFORME.

Cheers,
Ferdy
