Description Andrew Conkling 2005-01-16 21:57:40 UTC
I've made some version bumps to the Xfce ebuilds to fit the 4.2.0 release. They digest fine, but they don't build:

# emerge xfwm4
Calculating dependencies |
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=xfce-base/libxfcegui4-4.2.0-r1".

I think the eclass needs to be updated?

But once the eclass is updated, there should be usable ebuilds in this tarball. ^_^

Well, I don't think it's going to be preferred behaviour since Brad went to all
the trouble of creating the xfce eclass, but here are some ebuilds that will
work (for me anyway) because they don't use the eclass.

should be in portage using the eclass that I hope works (crosses fingers)
Comment 4 Andrew Conkling 2005-01-17 21:05:26 UTC
They worked for me (and others, according to the forums); thanks for resolving it quickly.

Do you know when the ebuilds will be x86 (in stead of ~x86)?

btw, those ebuilds where really fast in portage!!
Thanks!
