net-misc/netifrc-0.7.3 has been stabilized and that introduced a change that can break setups of users that run net-dialup/ppp-2.4.8-r1 with pppoe plugin in case they don't read the new config file comments:

In order to reduce the possibility of broken setups after the upgrade to netifrc-0.7.3, let's stabilize ppp-2.4.9 as well.
