Juk at the least now supports gstreamer output in kde-3.4.0 Current gstreamer USE flag is not an option for current ebuild.

kdemultimedia-3.4.0_beta1 has a gstreamer USE flag. Or did I misunderstand you?

No you understood me. I must have overlooked that. Reguardless as I watched the config go by it reported that I did not have gstreamer installed. Even though the USE flag was set, and the package merged.

There was indeed a bug, a dependency on gst-plugins was missing.
Should be fixed if you sync in a bout an hour.
