Description Kenny Bentley 2005-01-14 04:11:16 UTC
I am aware of this bug:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69605

however my problem is slightly differerent, as I have correct permissions (as best as I can tell). It complains that it can't find the file also when it indeed exists.

The results I get are as follows:

# tail /var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd/current

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] mail-mta/qmail-1.03-r15
[ebuild R ] net-mail/vpopmail-5.4.6-r1
[ebuild R ] mail-filter/qmail-scanner-1.24

my tcprules are just ":allow" until I figure out the problem.

-----------------------------

This appears to be a bug I cannot provide more debugging information, as I have no idea what is going on. (everything seems in order)

Is this still an issue? If so, can you try to attach strace (with follow fork flag) to the qmail-smtpd and push a mail into it.
