Description Thomas Bettler 2005-01-12 13:30:58 UTC
If I run basc and interrupt it for any reason (Ctrl+C / SIGTERM) and run it again
it seems that the UNIQUE_KEY of my system in /etc/basc/basc.conf doesn't exist no longer.

IMHO that shouldn't happen. Even if basc fails to complete the UNIQUE_KEY shouldn't be dropped!
Like this you will end up with lot of system on gentoo-stats, but most of them would be the same.

you're right and this will be fixed soon...

btw. there will never exist any doublicates in the gentoo-stats-database, because the older identical system will be deleted just when someone register the same system again.
