LibreOffice Calc files created/saved by LibreOffice for amd64 or created/saved by older versions of LibreOffice Calc for x86 are corrupted when opened with app-office/libreoffice-bin- 6.4.7.2_p3 for x86. The sames files open properly with app-office/libreoffice-bin- 6.4.7.2_p3 for amd64. Typically cells formats are incorrect and sometimes cells are moved or missing. Sometimes the application also crashes on save and can corrupt important Calc files. This is critical I think because the user can end up loosing important work. I also noticed that some formatting attributes on LibreOffice Writer x86 documents get corrupted. I think this issue dates back a few releases of LibreOffice and also noticed that LibreOffice dropped support for32-bit Linux Distros since version 6.3. This is likely an upstream issue but given that LibreOffice dropped support for 32bits on Linux, it is doubtful that they will fix this. So the question is should Gentoo keep LibreOffice in its portage tree or should it not stick to older versions (pre-6.3) that may not have had this issue?
This was never reproduced but also the version has left Gentoo ebuild repo. Obsolete.
