Description Tor Klingberg 2005-01-11 06:43:31 UTC
When I run etc-update (or dispatch-conf) after emerging new packages it wants to change /etc/portage/package.mask as per
->=x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r7
+>=x11-base/xorg-x11-4.3.0-r7

It looks like some xfree->xorg upgrade script replaces 'xfree' with 'xorg', but in this case it is clearly not right.

I use xorg and I have xfree masked so I won't install it by mistake when some ebuild has broken dependencies.

I has happened twice. Once after a big upgrade, and once after upgrading bison,procps and ed.

Not a big deal, but I could be a sign of a larger problem.

xfree is removed from portage. Drop the entry.
