Are you sure, you have got enough free diskspace? Also did you emerge this under X or without?
Have over 40Gigs of empty disk space and this was emerged under X from a console
Looks like there is somethin else wrong with your system. If you look in the output it break because of /usr/NX/lib/libXcomp.so.1 do you know from which package that is?
NXCLIENT - Version 1.4.0-91
Also forgot to mention in last post that ximian openoffice complies fine.
Still, this looks like a problem with your setup, try a revdep-rebuild and see what that brings up. At least rebuilding glibc and nxclient seems like a good idea. After that try again to emerge openoffice-bin.
Just install open-office not the bin one and it installed fine. I have emerge -C the nxclient as well. No problems. I had recently done revdep-rebuild.
Your last comment is not very clear for me, so: Do you still get this problem openoffice-bin?
Sorry, the last question should have been: Do you still get this problem with openoffice-bin?
I haven't tried re-installing the openoffice-bin package. I needed an office app and installed openoffice package. It installed fine.
Still, without that information, there is not a lott we can do, so closing. If you get it again, please reopen.
