Gemini space is a Gopher-like network, commonly refered to as "small internet". It was invented and created by "Solderpunk" in 2019. The underlying protocol is the Gemini protocol, URLs start with gemini://. It is simplistic, text-based and can be positioned between Gopher and HTTP/HTML, trying to incorporate the best of both worlds and with the goal to coexist. I quickly forged two ebuilds for Kristall, a Qt Gemini "browser" written by MasterQ32 aka Felix "xq" Queißner: https://github.com/MasterQ32/kristall It compiles and installs without errors, Kristall is usable; still, the quality of those ebuilds is "alpha"...
