sys-apps/ed-0.2-r5 causes tetex emerge failure,
please see below.
reverting to sys-apps/ed-0.2-r4, solved the problem.

PS this is a blocker as sys-apps/ed-0.2-r4 is no longer in portage
the tetex emerge error:

sync'ing and updatind to ed-0.2-r6 solved the problem
