i'm looking for the gentoo-src CVS tree, but the hosts don't seem to be up anymore, and i'm not seeing docs for where the sites are now i tried port 2401 on these to no avail: anoncvs.gentoo.org sources.gentoo.org cvs.gentoo.org
It was on the mailing list you were supposed to read: https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev-announce/message/3ea4d2956dbecf22fa61f0177ea52ed0
To be more helpful, Alec had more info on that with a reply to the dev list: https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/de50bd815f069985d1fdc645110d0d0b. I'm unsure if the tarballs of the raw CVS repos that he mentioned are available yet so he or infra would have to answer that.
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #1) > It was on the mailing list you were supposed to read: i know it's asking a lot of you, but maybe stop being a constant jerk Alec: can we devs get unfiltered archives ? build-docbook-catalog never migrated off of CVS and needs an update.

We also have them archived in s3; so if you can't get what you need from the projects site, lmk. -A
awesome, i'll take a look, thanks one reason i thought things were just broken is that the current homepage is misleading. should i file another bug for that ? https://anoncvs.gentoo.org/ -> just talks about git with no info for cvs
