Added to portage after a couple of minor changes.  Please report back here 
after you have successfully merged and tested the packages so the ~ flag may 
be removed.

I've installed this ebuild, and it hasn't had any trouble working with systemimager, which is the only way I use it.

Is there any way we can get this unmasked so that I can use it in an ebuild for sytemimager?
