Ready? Please remember to file stabilisation bugs ~30 days after a version lands in the tree if there are no bugs open and you believe it is ready (no regressions, etc). (Use packages.gentoo.org > Maintainers to see a list of your packages that may be ready for stabilisation). If it's ready, please add the 'CC-ARCHES' keyword.
Thanks for the reminder, it's only about 2 weeks since the last PR and there's still issues open. Don't know why p.g.o shows it as a potential stable package. I'm not sure if we should stabilize the package. See bug #730022 and your comment about respecting g++ in https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/19382#issuecomment-775774682

I don't generally worry *too* much about AR/LD/CC/CXX bugs wrt stabilisation, but if it's a regression, we should probably wait, yeah.
Let's roll?
Ok, let's go. I didn't have much focus on this package lately. Just noticed now, there's a v2.2.3 available, so I'm going to prepare a bump for it and see what I can do about ar and g++ direct calls in the bumped package.
amd64 stable
