This may have already been fixed by https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=9810c7fd00d55908d856d571b6a13e277f513008, trying unstable spidermonkey now.

78.7.1 stabilization bug #769803 with the fix is underway, so I'd say there's nothing to do here but wait.

78.7.1 merged successfully, other than backporting a blocker on rust-1.50 I guess we can mark this resolved
