Description Stefan Sperling 2005-01-08 09:30:43 UTC
When I ran

$ mirrorselect -a -s4 -o | grep 'GENTOO_MIRRORS=' >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf

during installation from a minimal live cd, mirrorselect reported:

/usr/sbin/mirrorselect: line 1: portageq: command not found

This message is confusing. It has no meaning to the casual user.
It happens because the check for the portageq binary happens after
the actual call to portageq.

This is not an issue in the upcoming version of mirrorselect.
