Description Viktor Ashirov 2005-01-08 08:32:18 UTC
When I close my xterm (konsole, Eterm, etc.) with running mc, it doesn't killed. It stays in process table and eats over 90% of CPU.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run xterm and exec mc
2. Close xterm
3. See mc in top

Actual Results:
mc keeps staying in process table and eats cpu

Expected Results:
mc should be killed

Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-08 13:01:02 UTC
please reopen, if you can reproduce the problem with gentoo-dev or development-sources
Comment 2 Viktor Ashirov 2005-01-08 15:09:08 UTC
With gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.9-r13 and gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.10-r1 had the same.
Comment 3 Viktor Ashirov 2005-01-10 17:59:32 UTC
Not a MC bug. Some apps (e.g., top) hangs too. Possible glibc bug (recompiling now).
