Ati-drivers currently work only with xorg-6.7.0 and opengl-update doesn't work anymore with that version, so it's impossible to switch to ati.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge ati-drivers
2.opengl-update ati
3.

Actual Results:  
 * Detected X 6.7 series, revision 3
 * This version requires >=x11-base/xorg-x11-6.8.0-r4


Expected Results:  
opengl-update should have switched profile to ati

Forgot to mention that this appears with opengl-update-2.0_pre4-r1. Haven't got same problem before.
