After exiting ufed, the screen remains in the buffer (term?) above the current line. This replaces output from previous apps (namely emerge). The expected behaviour is how nano and similar apps exit. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start ufed 2. exit ufed Actual Results: ufed's remains sprawled on screen Expected Results: ufed not covering up screen buffer. I probably have my terminology wrong. This a minor annoyance, but I run ufed so often after running emerge. And having emerge's output covered up isn't fun.
0.40_rc is in portage, no longer hardmasked, and doesn't have this problem (provided you're using a term which ncurses fully supports).
