I have the same problem, but I can't figure it out.
Comment 2 Wolfram Schlich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-11 07:49:42 UTC
I have just asked the CenterICQ author about it:

Comment 3 Wolfram Schlich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-11 07:59:45 UTC
Ok, dear AMD64 Porting Team :), can Konstantin Klyagin (the author of CenterICQ) have access to one of your AMD64 boxes in order to be able to verify and fix the bug? Please contact him directly at k@thekonst.net. Thanks in advance.
Comment 4 Mike Doty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-11 08:25:58 UTC
I suppose I can arrange for access on my network. it'll take me a little time to get access straightened out though.

Mike, any news here?
Comment 6 Wolfram Schlich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-21 00:19:48 UTC
Can some AMD64 user please try the patch mentioned on http://article.gmane.org/gmane.network.centericq/3173 ?
Comment 7 Rob 2005-01-21 09:56:49 UTC
I'll give it a go when I get home.
Comment 8 Jan Brinkmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-21 11:55:52 UTC
indeed, that patch fixed the problem. i've commited the patch, the ebuilds for the version 4.13.0 and 4.14.0 make use of it. thanks to Rob for the report, thanks to Wolfram for his effort and finally special thanks to Julian for the patch itself. do 'emerge sync' again in a few hours and emerge centericq again, afterwards it'll work fine again.
Comment 9 Rob 2005-01-21 12:15:49 UTC
Good to hear, and no need to thank me for the report, thanks for the fix.
