When i try to emerge ctags (5.5.4-r1) having the FEATURE "distcc" set, configure aborts with the error "configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile"

'FEATURES="-distcc" emerge ctags' works

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. configure distcc (has to work)
2. FEATURES="distcc" emerge ctags
