/sbin/rc uses the $svcsize variable it gets from /sbin/functions.sh to set the size of the $svcdir. I haven't dug in to figure out why, but this isn't working. I've had to hardcode the size in the /sbin/rc mount line to increase it. Thats the bug, but somewhat releated, the default of 1K appears to be fine for basic installs (my secondary DNS & Mail machine), but inadequate for more complex installs. Don't believe I've exceeded 2K yet though, but I'm still a Gentoo newbie <grin>. Thanks, Kevin N. Carpenter
Checkout /etc/conf.d/rc.
Any extra comments ? If not, I am going to close this.
Like I said, if you want to change the size, do it in /etc/conf.d/rc.
